TUT is taking late applications for the 2025 school year. Students who missed the first deadline can still apply.
The late application period runs from January 6 to January 31, 2025. You must submit all papers by midnight on the last day.
To apply, you need:
- Your final high school marks (Matric Results)
- ID copy
- Proof that you paid the R150 applications fee

Most programs need English level 4 and Math level 4 or 5. Science courses also need Physical Sciences.

How to Submit a Late Application at TUT for 2025
Before You Start:
- Create an email address if you don't have one (Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo)
- Calculate your APS score
- Get your R240 application fee ready
Documents You Need to Upload:
- Certified copy of your ID
- Certified National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 results
- Certified Grade 11 report
- Proof that you paid the R240 fee
Steps to Apply:
- Go to www.tut.ac.za
- Click "Accept" on the rules page
- Fill in your personal details
- Enter your school marks
- Add your school information
- Pick two study programs
- Check all your details
- Create a 5-digit PIN
- Upload your documents in PDF, DOC, DOCX, TIFF, PNG, or JPG format
- Click "Complete Upload"
- Wait for your confirmation page
Check Your Application Status:
- Visit www.tut.ac.za
- Click "Menu"
- Select "Apply Now"
- Choose "Yes" at "Do you have a student number?"
- Log in with your student number and PIN
- Scroll down to see your status
What's Next?
TUT will notify you via email within two weeks regarding your admission status. If accepted, you will be allowed to register for the 2025 academic year.
